Health & Social Care
Introduction
Heath and social care is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK and this course aims to develop students' theoretical knowledge of the area in addition to their practical understanding. Through the first year of the course, students focus on understanding how humans develop through the life stages and the factors which affect this, before moving on to look at health and social care service and values. In the second year, students complete their work on service and values before finishing the course with a final component relating to health and wellbeing.
