Overview
Drama
Introduction
The drama curriculum will challenge all our students to become confident, cooperative, enthusiastic learners who are passionate about drama and theatre. We aim to develop skills to improve creativity, resilience, resourcefulness, empathy and reflective thinking through an ambitious and inclusive curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and skills to perform, direct, devise and critique drama and theatre. Our curriculum will expose all students to a variety of genres, styles, practitioners, playwrights and stimuli from local, national and global contexts. Opportunities will be provided for students to perform to live audiences and experience theatre first hand which will help improve students' cultural capital.
